The Interactive Maps application has been developed to provide Internet users with property search and mapping capabilities, for localities within the City of Blue Mountains Local Government Area. Information available in the Interactive Maps is extracted from the City of Blue Mountains Geographical Information System (GIS) and Property system.

Maps - City

A series of city maps are available as Adobe Acrobat files including:

  • Blue Mountains Regional Context
  • Blue Mountains Local Government Area (showing Towns)
  • Blue Mountains Ward Boundaries

These maps can be downloaded at right.

Maps - Local Environmental Plan (LEP)

Maps are available for download associated with LEP 2005 and the supporting Environmental Management Plan (EMP) 2002.

Black and White Copying

Blue Mountains City Council is able to provide you with on-the-spot service for copying plans, maps and drawings, from A4 to A0 size (841mm wide x 1188mm long). Plans can be of most media types, up to heavy duty cardboard in thickness, and can be copied onto bond paper, film or tracing paper.

Black and White or Colour Maps

Colour or black and white copies of maps can be obtained from Blue Mountains City Council offices, at Katoomba or Springwood, or they can be ordered over the phone on (02) 4780 5602, and paid for by credit card. Some maps may not be available from the Springwood office, but can be ordered in.

AutoCAD printing is available for plans in .dwg, .dxf, .pdf and .plt formats. They can be emailed or brought into Council Headquarters at Katoomba on floppy disk, pen drive or CD. Approximately 2 hours notice will need to be given for AutoCAD plan printing, during peak times.
