Our Visitor Information Centre at Katoomba is nestled in the Echo Point precinct - the home of the world famous Three Sisters.

Follow the blue and gold accredited 'i' signs from the main township of Katoomba heading south to Echo Point. You'll know you have arrived when you are captivated by the panoramic vista that has surrounded you with the pinnacle being the Three Sisters.

Echo Point lookout is on the traditional land of the Gundungurra and Darug People. Perched on the edge of the escarpment, it has panoramic views of the Jamison Valley. The lookout is the gateway to many great walks, from the easy pathway that leads out to the Three Sisters to the more challenging Giant Stairway which leads you down almost 1,000 stairs to the valley floor below.

It is located at the base of the mountains, off the Great Western Highway, near the beautiful village of Glenbrook.

Look out for our blue and gold accredited 'i' signs directing you into the rest area.
