Lodge Applications Online

We are working towards making the lodgement of applications as convenient and environmentally friendly as possible.

From 1 January 2017, all applications that require an approval from Council can now be lodge online. This applies to development applications, construction certificates, requests for approvals under the Roads Act etc. this also applies to certificates supporting documentation lodged by private certifiers for record keeping purposes.

Electronic lodgement of applications means that you do not need to provide any paper copies of construction plans and supporting documents. Please follow the guidelines below on how to prepare your electronic application.


Lodgement Guidelines

  • Plans must be to scale and be in PDF format
  • Documents must not include embedded attachments
  • Plans and documents must be of a resolution suitable for printing (minimum 300dpi) and not encrypted or password secured
  • Must use tilting that reflects the content of the plan/report eg. Statement of Environmental Effects, Heritage Report, site Plan, Floor Plan, Traffic Plan etc.


Online Payments

Some applications require payment to be made at the time of lodgement. If payment is required you will be directed to a payment screen at the last step. Payments are only accepted by Credit Card at this time (merchant fees apply).

To begin, you will need to register as a user. After the account is validated you will receive an email confirmation that your account is active (allow 2 working days for e-mail confirmation).
