Change your name on your Rate Notice

If you’d like to change the name that appears on your Rate Notices, please provide Council with proof of either a Marriage Certificate or change by Deed Poll.  

A request to Council does not change the details held by the Land and Property Information (LPI) NSW office, so you will be required to contact them separately to request a change of name. The Land and Property Information (LPI) NSW office will require a copy of all supporting documentation to process the alteration.

Postal address change for Property Owner

If your current postal address is different from the address shown on the front of the Rate Notice, please notify our Rating Department immediately. Notification can be made by fax, post or via email to council@bmcc.nsw.gov.au.

Please note: We will not accept notifications of change of address over the telephone.

Postal address change for Managing Agent

We will accept a letter/ fax or email from the Managing Agent together with a signed contract/authorisation from the property owner, on behalf of the property owner to change the forwarding address. Notification can be made by fax, post or via email to council@bmcc.nsw.gov.au.
