Mayor's response to Opposition Leader's announcement of night time 'No Fly Zone' for WSA

21 Apr 2016

City of Blue Mountains Mayor, Cr Mark Greenhill, has cautiously acknowledged the announcement today from Federal Opposition Leader, Bill Shorten, to impose a “no fly zone” over western Sydney communities impacted by the proposed Western Sydney Airport at Badgery’s Creek.
“Blue Mountains City Council’s position remains unchanged. We do not support any airport at Badgery’s Creek”, said the Mayor. “However, I acknowledge that Labor’s position is better than that of the Australian Government”.
