800+ free online exercise workouts

09 Apr 2020

Free online workouts and exercise tips are the latest way Council is supporting the Blue Mountains community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Blue Mountains Leisure Centres have teamed up with Les Mills to extend the normal in-person fitness programs offered by Centres, to provide FREE access to Les Mills On Demand for the whole community until 31 May.

Les Mills On Demand offers over 800 workouts including group fitness, short workouts, technique training and audio-only options, so you can work out at home while there are restrictions on public movements and gatherings.

The program also has a range of exercise tips and workouts that require no equipment, so the community can stay fit, without needing to spend money buying fitness equipment.

Blue Mountains Mayor Mark Greenhill said: “This is the latest online service Council has launched in recent weeks, adding to the many ways we are supporting our community during this difficult period.

“Our teams at the Leisure Centres have worked hard to organise this, to ensure their members and the whole Blue Mountains’ community can stay fit and well, while staying at home.

“I’m constantly inspired by the passion and commitment of Council staff to continue to work for the community and provide services in new and creative ways, especially in such strange and difficult circumstances.”

Residents can sign up for free and will have access to the whole Les Mills On Demand offering within 48 hours, until 31 May. Find out more and sign up: https://www.lesmillsondemand.com/en_au/bluemountains-leisure/register
