Wentworth Falls is a quaint village best known for its amazing waterfalls, bushwalks and stunning lookouts, as well as one of the best picnic spots in the mountains right next to Wentworth Falls Lake.

It is also home to the award-winning Mountain High Pies and a shopping village featuring beautiful gift shops, casual cafes and amazing pastries.

With COVID-19 restrictions easing, more businesses are opening so Wentworth Falls is the perfect place to spend some post-isolation time.

It’s still important that we be careful and considerate as we get back out into the community. Every business may be operating a little differently, so remember to observe their rules, be patient and kind, and maintain physical distancing.

Wentworth Falls is also known for perhaps its most famous visitor – in 1836 Charles Darwin stopped in the Blue Mountains at ‘Weatherboard’, which was the name of the small settlement that became Wentworth Falls in 1837.
