Pizza Sublime, Leura

Leura Garage is closed for now, but in the meantime the Garage team bring a touch of la dolce vita here in the Blue Mountains by launching Pizza Sublime.

Pizza Sublime offers artisan style pizza slices in Roman style. Pizza in pala Romana is light with a crispy base and easy to digest due the pre-fermentation “biga” process. With state of the art equipment including an Italian Marana oven, and top quality ingredients, the product is authentic and truly sublime. Experience the essence of Italian quality at Pizza Sublime!

You can order either whole boards or half boards of pizza online. Also on offer is “ready to eat” and “finish at home” options. Pizza Sublime is open Monday to Sunday, 12 pm to 8 pm, for pick up or delivery.

Vincent is open 7 days a week during Lockdown for breakfast lunch and dinner: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday 6am-3pm for breakfast and lunch; Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6am-8pm for breakfast lunch and dinner.

The Parade, Espresso Bar & Food Emporium, Hazelbrook

The Parade Cafe opened in 2014 on the south side of Hazelbrook, for dine in and takeaway, serving local and regional produce with love and inspiration. The Parade is also the home of Redpepper Catering that has been serving the local community and beyond for close to 15 years. During the current COVID lockdown we have pivoted with the restrictions to meet public demand for our delicious food with safe service of takeaway and take home meals, as well as home delivered catering boxes. It has been great to serve the community and we are happy to share this family recipe. Arrana opened it’s beautiful hand-crafted door in October 2020, and has received rave reviews ever since.  The modern lux restaurant exudes an elegant warmth.  It aims to provide Springwood and the lower Blue Mountains with a fine dining experience that has been absent for many years.

Arrana’s executive Chef, Daniel Cabban, has lived in the Blue Mountains all his life.  His mission is simple – to create good food and give guests a great experience that they remember.  

Daniel and his team incorporate Australian native ingredients to all their dishes in a unique and exciting way.  “We are surrounded by the Blue Mountains Heritage Area, so it makes sense to pay respect to the fruits of our land by showcasing them in our fine dining degustation style menu.”  

Dine in:  Arrana offer’s a 4 course or 7 course degustation menu with optional wine pairing. Open Wednesday to Saturday (Sunday by reservation only).

Nook, Blaxland

Growing up in the Blue Mountains, Tiarne and Kai are locals who share a passion for fine food and creating a dining experience to remember. They met in the hospitality industry and bought their first restaurant in 2020, Restaurant Nook. At Nook their goal is to share their love for local, seasonal and sustainable dining in their own unique way. Tiarne and Kai’s dream has always been to open a restaurant together and are so excited to share their passion with the local community they grew up with. The restaurant is currently open for takeaway, offering a weekly changing menu as well as additional entrees, sides and desserts during lockdown. They are open 6 days a week for dinner from 5pm, closed Tuesdays. Nook is currently undergoing renovations from head to toe, ready to open once restrictions ease with a whole new dining experience for the community to indulge in.
