Make a day out of exploring the mid-Mountains by visiting the townships of Hazelbrook and Lawson.

As locals know, at Hazelbrook you’ll find a quaint little village with character-filled antique shops, cafes and local stores. Venture out towards Horseshoe Falls, explore the cave behind Oaklands Falls, or visit the Glow-Worm Nook Falls where you might have a chance encounter with the Glow Worms.

Another option is to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains by taking one of the many bushwalks in Lawson. There you’ll see magnificent waterfalls, ancient views, and an abundance of bird life.

The village of Lawson is also home to the Triumphal Arch that towers over the Honour Gardens as a majestic ode to men who served in the Great War 1914-1918. After your walk, the shopping precinct has some great cafés and restaurants with everything from Italian, Thai and Mediterranean to keep your taste buds happy.
