Melrose Park in North Katoomba is another example of a local standard park.

It is a cluster of recreational facilities including Melrose Oval, Melrose family skate park and playground equipment.

There is bushland, toilet amenities, park benches and partial fencing.

The oval is also a shared dog-off leash space.

Update: The monkey bar play equipment at Melrose Park was vandalised on Monday 3 May, 2021. The monkey bars have now been removed for safety reasons but the rest of the play equipment is still open to the public. The vandalism has been reported to the police and the Council are investigating repairs.
We ask residents to stay vigilant and report any incidents of this nature to the relevant authorities.
