Work locations

We have work sites spread across the Blue Mountains with most conveniently located close to public transport.

Our Head Office is located in Katoomba, with an additional Business Information Centre based in Springwood.

City Services operates from two depots located in Katoomba and Springwood. They also manage two Waste Management Facilities located in Katoomba and Blaxland.

Council has five leisure and aquatic centres located in Glenbrook, Springwood, Lawson, Katoomba and Blackheath.

Our six libraries are located in Springwood, Katoomba, Blaxland, Lawson, Wentworth Falls and Blackheath.

Hours of work

Hours of work vary depending on the position and work location.

Generally, outdoor staff work a 38 hour week from 7:10am to 4:00pm with a 40 minute lunch break. Indoor staff work a 35 hour week from 8:30am to 5:00pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
