The Blue Mountains hosts a wide variety of community-run events throughout the year. We are keen to support these important happenings as we recognise they are an important part of community life....
The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, known as IDAHOT, is observed annually on 17 May.
This year’s Blue Mountains event features key speakers Dr Shirleene Robinson and Paul Van Reyk, two prominent members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (LGBTQI) community.
Everyone is welcome to commemorate IDAHOT on Thursday, 17 May at 10am to 12 noon at Civic Place, Katoomba.
Events include morning tea, guest speakers and raising the Rainbow Flag.
