Flood-effected road closures
Extreme weather this week has left significant hazards and flooded roads throughout the Blue Mountains. As a result, some roads are CLOSED to traffic. These areas will remain closed until they are safe for traffic to re-enter.

Please note: One line of Bells Line of Road (a State road managed by Transport for NSW) has reopened, between Mt Wilson Road and Rainbow Ravine Road, following extensive work to repair damage caused by the recent floods. Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h are in place. These measures as well as concrete barriers have allowed the road to reopen safely.
