If your property is identified as a ‘Deferred Matter’ from LEP 2015, then development on that land will continue to be controlled and guided by the relevant Local Environmental Plan (LEP) and Development Control Plan (DCP) that applied to the land prior to the implementation of LEP 2015.
The Better Living DCP is the companion document to LEP 1991 and LEP 2005. It provides practical information aimed at encouraging development that retains and enhances the remarkable character of the Blue Mountains. It is part of a suite of documents that form a blue print towards a more sustainable future. It contains all the relevant issues, design principles, performance criteria and standards for development.
