Katoomba Sports & Aquatic Centre reopened on Monday 14 September at 6am.
NSW Health advised that anyone who visited the centre between 11.30am and 1.30pm on Friday, 4 September should continue to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.
A person who visited the centre at that time tested positively to the virus on Friday 11 September.
Council staff, who were also at the facility on 4 September and elected to undertake COVID-19 testing, have received negative test results.
A deep clean of the centre will be completed on 13 September, so that the centre will be ready to reopen.
Blue Mountains City Council will continue to follow the advice of NSW Health.
