Vision: To promote the affiliation of Sister Cities by helping towns and cities to motivate communities to extend the hand of friendship nationally and internationally.
Mission: To provide a forum for cultural, educational and economic interchange between communities and to encourage friendship, co-operation and understanding to improve the quality of life worldwide.
Meetings: The Sister City Committee meets on the Wednesday of each month at the Springwood Neighbourhood Centre. 2009 Meeting Schedule:

News Flash! The Sister City Committee is sending two senior Eco-Ambassadors who are Council Officers, Mr Chris Dewhurst and Mr Soren Mortensen, to Sanda on an environmental exchange in October 2008. Also in Sanda at the same time for the Sister City Junior Ambassador Program is Joshua McTackett from Woodford who is a student at Winmalee High School. |
