The Blue Mountains Civics Education Kit is based on material supplied by Blue Mountains City Council and the Local Government and Shires Association of NSW.
The Blue Mountains Civics Education Kit is designed to provide information of interest to students and teachers about local government and in particular, Blue Mountains City Council.
This material is relevant to units of work prescribed in the Department of Education syllabus, particularly HSIE units on Democracy and Civics and Citizenship and is most suitable for primary school and junior high school.
