Draft Citywide Community Infrastructure Contributions Plan (Section 94A Levy)
At the meeting of 20 October 2009, the Council endorsed the Draft Citywide Community Infrastructure Contributions Plan (Section 94A Levy Plan) for public exhibition in accordance with the EP&A Act 1979 and the EP&A Regulation 2000. The draft plan and background information on the contributions system may be downloaded at right.
Section 94A is a part of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act that allows Council to impose, as a condition of development consent, a requirement that an applicant pay a levy of the percentage of the proposed costs of carrying out the development. The levy will be used to help provide public infrastructure, amenities and services in the Blue Mountains Local Government Area.
Exhibition Period: The draft plan will be on exhibition from Wednesday 4 November to Wednesday 16 December 2009 and submissions are invited during this period.
Locations: Exhibition material may be downloaded at right, or viewed at Council's Katoomba and Springwood Business and Information Centres and Blackheath, Katoomba, Wentworth Falls, Lawson, Springwood and Blaxland Libraries.
Submissions: Any person wishing to make a submission about the plan should make the submission in writing, clearly stating matters of relevance quoting reference F05735. Submissions close 16 December 2009 and should be forwarded to:
