Waste to Art 2012

The Waste to Art Competition and Exhibition is a regional event that Blue Mountains City Council has proudly been involved in for the sixth year. The concept is a celebration of the re-use and recycling of materials that would normally end up in landfill. The challenge is to create something interesting, beautiful or useful out of something that would normally be thrown away.
 
Waste to Art was a great success this year with over 130 entries in both the community and the student exhibit (held at Braemar Gallery). We also received over 1,000 visitors to the two exhibits this year! Well done to the Blue Mountain community artists who displayed their wonderful transformations of Waste into Art.
