Waste and Resources Reference Group
Council hosts a Waste and Resources Reference Group which is made up of people representing Blue Mountains residents, businesses, schools, youth, Waste Management Facility neighbours and users and environment groups. The Members are all volunteers.
The purpose of the WARRG is to:
- Involve the community in the planning, development and implementation of waste and resource management initiatives;
- Ensure community views are canvassed and conveyed to Council; and
- Act as a central point of communication and understanding between the community and Council.
Council is now recruiting new members to the WARRG to represent sectors of our community. Submissions close Friday 4 November 2011. If you would like to become involved as a member of WARRG please download the Information Sheet and Terms of Reference.
