For your convenience, the Library operates at 6 locations: Springwood, Katoomba, Blaxland, Lawson, Wentworth Falls, Blackheath, as well as a Book Express Service to railway commuters.

We have over 120,000 quality items in our collections, comprising of books, DVDs, CDs, magazines and newspapers. We offer a reference collection and service, including specialist services such as local history and family history. These are available to customers within the Library. Newspapers, magazines and study and lounge areas are provided. Our dynamic children and young adults team provides a wide range of popular activities, including games, story time and baby time, and holiday activities.

Our catalogue where you can search the collections, reserve and renew items and check your record is available to you online 24/7. For information you won't find with a search engine try our premium sites, a collection of specialised online resources we subscribe to on your behalf: electronic encyclopaedias, newspapers, magazines and much more. Many of these online resources can be accessed from the comfort of your home. A community information database is available electronically. You can come in and use the library's computers for internet and word processing, or use your own computer with free wireless access (Katoomba and Springwood libraries).
