Youth Services in the Blue Mountains

There are a diverse range of services for young people throughout the Blue Mountains.

Blue Mountains City Council's "Strategy for Young People 2002-2007" outlines Council's commitment to creating and strengthening partnerships with youth services in order to provide excellent facilities for young people in areas of health, housing, recreation and employment.

Young people are generally defined as being between the ages of 12 to 24. At the 1996 Census there were 12,755 young people living in the Blue Mountains, approximately 17.6% of the population.
