Reconnecting to Country

The Reconnecting to Country project is a partnership project between Blue Mountains City Council, the Gully Traditional Owners, Rous Water, Sustainable Futures and the Widjabul people.

Residents are invited to participate in various events being hosted across the Blue Mountains. Upcoming events include guided walks with Aboriginal people from our local community to hear about Aboriginal culture, history and heritage in the Blue Mountains and a weekend workshop with a variety of presenters and activities.

Bookings are essential, numbers are limited. For more information and to book your place, please contact Elly Chatfield at Council, available Thursdays and Fridays on (02) 4780 5726 or echatfield@bmcc.nsw.gov.au.
