Environmental Events in the Blue Mountains

Blue Mountains City Council has an extensive events program over the year. There are many opportunities for residents and visitors to become involved in environmentally based activities.

In general the events program participates in the following national or internationally initiated events:

The Events program also participates in various Blue Mountains community-lead festivals and specific local events. These vary from year to year but include the following:

  • Springwood Foundation Day - held on the first Saturday in April
  • NAIDOC Week (National Aboriginal and Islander Day of Observance Committee) - held in early July
  • Glenbrook Spring Festival - held in November
