Bush Backyards Scheme
Do you …
- Have bushland in your backyard?
- Need some extra assistance to tackle your weeds invading bushland?
- Have a commitment to managing your property for the improvement of biodiversity and conservation?
The 'Bush Backyards' Scheme is a Blue Mountains City Council Program aimed to help enhance and protect the natural values across the Blue Mountains, particularly on private lands.
This Scheme provides extension support, training opportunities and workshops, and advice to landholders committed to the conservation of native plants, animals and bushland on their properties.
'Bush Backyards' members also include:
- Schools
- Commercial properties
- Rural landholders and semi-rural farmland
- Residential landholders
