Submissions must be in writing and will be accepted up to the end date of the notification period.
In considering development applications, Council seeks to ensure that the proposal respects the character and amenity of the surrounding area. An extensive range of planning issues are considered including community submissions. Submissions form part of the paperwork associated with the application and as such, cannot be kept confidential. Section 12 of the Local Government Act generally allows any person (including the applicant), to obtain copies of submissions unless the author of the submission can show good reason as to why details should be kept confidential. If this is the case, this must be addressed in the submission. Should you wish to make a submission it will be acknowledged. You will also be advised of the determination.
