Application for an Occupation Certificate
An occupation certificate is a certificate that enables an owner or occupier to legally occupy or use a building or part. The owner or person able to appoint the Principal Certifying Authority may apply for a Final or Interim Occupation Certificate, and will be subject to a satisfactory final inspection and receipt of the Application for an Occupation Certificate form, which may be downloaded at right.
This form must be completed and returned to Blue Mountains Building Certifiers before the Occupation Certificate can be issued. A copy of the form may also be obtained by contacting our office on (02) 4780 5422 or by email certifiers@bmcc.nsw.gov.au. Forms may be returned by email, post or at Council's Business Information Centres - full details are available on the form.
