National Tree Day
National Tree Day is a community event designed to develop the relationship that residents and communities have with their local natural spaces.
National Tree Day encourages local beautification, promotes biodiversity, and activates individuals and groups to take positive action to protect their environment at a local level.
Blue Mountains City Council supports National Tree Day by offering native trees to schools and community groups in the Blue Mountains local government area, conducting community planting events and assisting with Schools Tree Day activities.
